It's correlation to wins (~.58) is stronger then the unajusted yards per attempt and slightly less than the adjusted version. <BR/><BR/>It also does not appear that a strong running game has any more of an effect on that statistic than it does on passing yards per attempt. <BR/><BR/>Finally I still think TD's are worth something (maybe not enough to be worht counting) as a QB that passes a lot in the redzone will have his yards per attempt lowered a bit as there is less field to work with. <BR/><BR/>An old formula I remember reading for adjusted yards per attempt was [(passing yards- sack yards)+10*td's-50*int]/att.<BR/><BR/>I'd still like to see it adjusted for number of attempts too to make it a counting stat rather than a rate stat or post both.bruddoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00308754486422595344noreply@blogger.com
