I find it hard to believe this game's EI was less than that of the 05 and 06 Super Bowls when the outcome was still in doubt until three minutes to go in the 4th
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. All the EI's after week 12 or so are using an updated model that uses more smoothing. This off-season I'll recompute the archive of games with the updated EI's.
