Many readers have probably wondered why I haven't been posting articles nearly as often as I had in years past. Here's the reason--The one-year news embargo is officially lifted, and I can officially announce my participation in a project so big and so cool I can hardly describe it with words. I'll let
the page at IMDb say it all. Thanks to everyone for all their support throughout this process. It wouldn't have been possible without the loyal fans of ANS!
0 Comments? This deserves a comment, and I'm not a website commenter. Great job Brian, my first reaction was "I can't believe this" but you've done fantastically well here and I'd expect this to be a big news story today ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Congratulations! Also, great job on getting John Cusack to play you :D
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed. This clearly took a lot of work! =)
ReplyDeleteAPRIL FOOLS! Wow! Had me there for a second! LOL
ReplyDeleteClassic!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG you got me completely. Nice work Brian.
ReplyDeleteColin Egglesfield as Joe Flacco... Brilliant. Keeping us on our toes!
ReplyDeleteWell done. :)
ReplyDeleteMan, that is an ELABORATE page. All the buttons, links, videos. All the text in the subsections.
ReplyDeleteI was fooled until I started clicking around.
It's very easy to do. Just download the site's html and rehost it, replacing some text and graphics. The poster was done as a favor by a pro.
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing for my April 1 post a few yrs ago:

Kindle. He's our guy.
ReplyDeleteMoneyball 2: Moneyballer
ReplyDeleteHey Brian, a suggestion for the site: add a way to see articles with new comments on them similar to Tango's site. That would save a lot of time and potentially reinvigorate otherwise lost conversations and comments.
ReplyDeleteThe best part was when you made the Ravens win the Super Bowl just to convince us this was real. Thanks, Brian!
ReplyDeleteMoneyball 2: This time, it's personnel.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is incredible. I've always thought of you as at the forefront of this movement, but I'm glad you'll be representing us when the rest of the world catches on. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteEverything is believable until the Kindle dialogue. Probably did take you a week to do this. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteDamn you had me
ReplyDeleteDamn, I texted 9 of my friends like a little kid on Christmas telling them to check it out.

ReplyDeleteConfirmed.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I get for reading my RSS feeds days later...
ReplyDeleteCan you make a mock draft?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part is the fake message board with posts like "Is John Cusack right for playing Burke?" lol.
ReplyDeleteI also share Anonymous's surprise you aren't more popular given that you definitely possess the gift lol.
Lmao. I'm imagining a scene where John cusak and Jack Black argue the top 5 analytical tools. Very funny.
ReplyDeleteYou are cold blooded haha. I was mentioning this when I used your stuff as a basis to my draft arguments, and just saw the page wasn't imdb. Well played sir, well played.
