Intern-level? Seriously? I've seen this on baseball stats jobs too. These guys are throwing millions of dollars at players, but they want to spend lunch money on studying what to do with those valuable players or to study whether those players are worth the millions being spent on them. You're not going to attract talent unless you pony up some cash, and it's not even that much cash! Penny wise and pound foolish.

Consider it a tryout. Teams don't pay players for attending the combine.

Would you need to move for the position or can this position be done from anywhere?

Hi, I was wondering if this was in fact a serious internship? I have always wanted to somehow get into this type of work but I was never sure exactly how. If this is real I would be extremely interested and would like to learn more about this opportunity

I see they'll gladly take everyone's best research idea. Just shoot 'em in.

Brian, I understand the need for confidentiality - but is this for the Browns? Trying to avoid redundancy here...

If this was for a full time job, then maybe the combine would be analagous to the interview.

An internship costs money for someone who would otherwise have a full time job.

I'll be one of the first to apply once they start looking for Free Agents willing to give a home town discount, rather than charging to tryout as a walkon.
