If I put up a post that discussed the Packers' and Steelers' statistics in meticulously detailed prose, comparing every possible conventional and advanced stat for both teams and their top players, it would be read by about 10,000 readers by tomorrow.
But if there were a standing page that compiled those same stats automatically and put them on one big cheat-sheet for you, it would get 12 readers. How do I know it would be 12? Because there is such a page, and that's how many people have visited it today. So I don't think I've done a very good job of promoting the match-up page.
Want to compare the Packers' and Steelers' offensive run success rates?
How much WPA per game have Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger contributed this season? EPA per play?
Which team has really has the better pass defense?
Who are the top defensive playmakers?
It's all there on one page. It's always been available by clicking on the PIT-GB game in the scoreboard banner above.

Brian,
I put the 12 readers of the match up page down to small sample size. Really, it's only one event. I wouldn't draw any conclusions ;)
Your next post: An intervention study comparing the effects of presentation method on website traffic.
Just saying.
p.s. ever considered presenting the offense and defense tables so that they literally matching up one team's offense vs. the other team's defense? it's obviously well within human visuospatial capabilities to "match them up" while looking at 2 different tables, but PIT offense stats adjacent to GB defense stats (and vice versa) is handy.
Wow -- its hard to find that in the middle of the finished scores.
I've long thought matchup stats should presented as offense v defense. For instance:
Offense Defense
Pit GB
Passing
netYPA 6.7 5.5
Int% 1.9 4.4
Rushing
YPC 4.0 4.5
Offense Defense
GB Pit
Passing
netYPA 7.2 5.3
Int% 2.2 3.0
Rushing
YPC 3.8 3.0
the biggest discrepancies being the areas to focus on. whomever comes out closest to their norm is probably doing better...
weeee.
1 of 12!
Keep up the stat generation fearless-leader.
