Did you ever get the feeling that this site was designed by a guy who had absolutely no training in web development and had no artistic talent, and that everything he knew about website design he learned from a "For Dummies" book? Yeah, me too.
Now it looks a little less like that.

What it looks like on my system (Chrome 19.0.1084.56 on Windows Vista) is that the scoreboard is too low, blocking the first line of your text.
The menu is pretty slick, though.
Yeah, now it looks like it was designed by someone who didn't test it in Chrome/webkit.
FYI, it's also broken in IE7 and styled incorrectly in IE8.
Chrome on mac has same scoreboard issue. Other than that, looks great. I like the new font.
The refresh looks nice, but I'll be honest, its the content and the authors' insights that interest me.

I agree with Andrew Meyer. I'd rather see you spend your time and money on serious football analysis. The new UI looks nice, but honestly it's beginning to look less like a blog and more like FO, CHFF, PFF, etc. I guess you are becoming more mainstream, but I just hope you don't forget about your hardcore fans.
Not sure if you follow these things, so perhaps it is worth pointing out that Chrome is the browser with the most users. So if you are only going to test one browser that is the one to test ;-)

I had an interesting debate about Percy Harvin vs Calvin Johnson. I said "It's about money... I would rather have 40 Percy Harvin type "near elite" players making $1M a year than 2.5 elite players like Calvin Johnsons making 16.5M per year"...
But then the idea struck me that even if you could do that, with the remaining 13 players on the roster, you would have $70M to spend. So even if you have a guy only slightly more valuable than Percy Harvin, you should have no problem paying twice as much or 3 times as much and there is some room for overspending since you aren't graded completely on Maximizing value. Your team isn't any better if it is $30M under the salery cap each year. So teams obviously have a reason to fill their roster with the occasional premium talent even if they have to overpay.
My question is... theoretically say every year EVERY single player must be thrown into free agency. How do teams value players and How should they fill their roster to make sure they maximize their probability of winning?
If it makes things more simple, lets say it doesn't matter if you have 53 WRs or 53 QBs, and say player's "win probability added" or whatever contributes no matter if they are a starter or backup..
Is there a way to figure it out?
Basically what I am looking for is how to maximize a team's win probability by filling a 53 man roster with say $100M in salary cap...
It's also an equation that would be perfect for auction based drafting in fantasy football because determining who represents the best bang for the buck isn't enough to maximize the entire overall roster, and if you could use a spreadsheet you could determine how the values of players change as the player pool is eliminated and as players underpay or overpay for players leaving more or less money to compete with for the remaining players and changing the expected value that players should go for. Maybe it would simplify things this way since you are only looking at WR,RB,QB,TE,K,DST rather than a ton of positions. IDK.
That's for all the bug reports. I'll try to straighten out the formatting on Chrome. Hopefully, it's the same issue that's messing up the mobile browsers.

Ever think about going mobile-friendly with a responsive design? I'm guessing a lot of people will be accessing this site on their phones and iPads once the season starts.
I appreciate and understand the demand for year-round content. I promise it's not a deliberate boycott. Part of it is that there is only so much interesting stuff that I have the tools and data to penetrate, and much of the low hanging fruit has already been plucked. I'd like to save it up for the season when there are many more people paying attention.
Regarding a mobile format, there is already a mobile version for most mobile phones. Some mobile devices are more advanced and will default to the full version, however. The only truly mobile-unfriendly thing about the site is that the WP graphs are built with Flash, so Apple devices don't get to see them. For live graphs, I do have a non-Flash mobile version under Graphs | Mobile.

A note on mobile: Flash is no longer supported in the mobile space at all. Many current devices have flash capability, but any update or new device running Android 4.1 or higher will not have flash capabilities. I don't know how often people access your site with iOS or Android, but that might be something to keep in mind.
