Some weeks can have a lot of really exciting games. Week 14 wasn't one of them. This week's most exciting game was (technically) BUF 16 KC 10 (5.5 EI). True, this wasn't a shootout between two playoff contenders, but if you really cared about who won, this was exciting. Leads of 6 points often produce exciting games because a TD at any time can tip the balance.
The runner up actually had playoff implications.
The comeback of the week wasn't terribly thrilling either. NE had about a 1 in 6 chance of winning (a CBF of 6) late in the second quarter as CAR drove into scoring position with a 7-point lead. NE ultimately won, NE 20 CAR 10.

I'm not sure I understand a system that ranks the most exciting games as a 16-10 win and a 14-10 win, in a week where Philly beat the Giants 45-38 with more game-changing plays and long unexpected TDs than I can remember. There was a 2-play sequence alone (Hixon TD, followed by Desean Jackson receiving TD) that was more exciting than the entire Buffalo game.
Because PHI had the game in hand for the entire game except for that nanosecond when the Giants took the lead by a point.
The outcome BUF-KC game was uncertain throughout.
But this is only if you care about which team wins. If you just like watching bad defense, then I guess the PHI-NYG game is for you.
Hehe, my thoughts exactyl BB.
I thought the PHI-CIN tie a while ago was very exciting, most people thought it was extremely boring.
It appears only offensive football is exicting to most people :( .
One of the most exciting games I watched was the Pittsburgh 3-0 win over Miami on a last minute field goal. Good defense IS fun to watch. If NYG-PHI was that exciting for you, watch arena football!!!
