-How big has return specialist Brandon Banks' impact been?
-LaRon Landry's absence really hurts the Redskins' D.
-The 'Skins are now 5-6. Do they still have a shot at the playoffs?
-The upcoming Giants game is a statistical uphill battle.

    Roy,

Are you asking for the group of articles under "Stats Explained", which is in the drop-down list under "Stats" in the banner at the top of this page? If not, let us know more specifically what you're looking for. :-)

Also, I find it quite funny that Brian was being criticized in the comments on RI this week because ... the neanderthals over there didn't remember Brandon Banks blocking an Adam Vinatieri FG.

I think this higlights a crucial difference between his analysis and their "analysis" - Brian isn't relying on his memory, gut, expectations, biases, etc. [all wildly unreliable; google Elizabeth Loftus] to do his analysis. So even if his statistics were worthless (which they are far from), I'd rather have them than not.

If they can call a fighter pilot a "NERD", I can call them "neanderthals" even if one of them has a college education, right? ;-)
